The days events… 7Jun2025

Tannas sits in his chair in the Consortium hall. His bare feet were freshly pulled from his boots and propped up on an ottoman. It was a welcome change to running around, wearing them all day. Maybe there was time for a nap? The events of the day run fresh in his mind. One thing in particular stands out. What does it cost to do the right thing? Nothing, most days. Sometimes you can question what’s right, but in your heart, you know.

The town of Meadowmere had gathered to help find a missing soldier, who also happened to be the love interest of an investigator in the Order. The task was to recover the soldier while also receiving boxes of information through a flying messenger. Seems like an easy enough day, right? Wrong.

Enter a mass of horde, and internal subterfuge. Am I surprised Sparrow is involved? Not really. I can only guess he didn’t act alone. And to what end, is still not clear. I’m sure it’ll all pan out in time. Everything usually does. Horde on the other hand are a mixed bag of nuts. They are armed and hungry for whatever they can get thier grubby hands on. There were a few close calls, but thankfully everyone ended up right as rain by the end of day.

The investigator and the soldier were reunited, horde were slain, people were healed, and Sparrow ended up in manacles. That sounds like a lot for one day.

Tannas wiggled his toes a bit before adding a blanket to his legs. Maybe there was time for a nap after all.
