A new adventure in Ancuram

Dear journal: We finally made it out of the desert and made it to Irhdell, the boarder city. The guards here seem nice but I get the sense that they don’t like foreigners much. They asked us to help them celebrate the faces by drawing a mask to give the voiceless a voice. I made on but couldn’t think of what to give a voice to. I did try putting it on myself to give my inner child a voice, but it didn’t like that and it tried to take my breath from me. That was a bit scary. I then couldn’t think about what else to try. In the end I draped it over my familiar’s cage to try and give the air,and or wind a voice. It didn’t seem like it had anything to say to me, or I may not have had asked the right questions. It seems others had varying results. Later that evening the spirits looked to be quite angry or not quite like themselves. They soon attacked some of our citizens.
I was not able to fight, my back injury from many years ago started to act up so I went on a resource run in order to be able to make a few support items. It was much later when Yanisf and Rikku had approached me with a proposal of teaming up to gather resources and recipes to share amongst ourselves in order to better help each other. I did also check the notice board and found that the merchant’s guild had posted a request for advertising. I decided to take up that quest, and I made a flyer and did some vocal advertising for Arty’s Weapon Works. I found that quite enjoyable. I also am looking into joining the alchemy crafter’s guild but I’m not sure yet on which guild to choose. Sometimes I wish you could give me advice, journal. I think our group has found what we were searching for, so we will probably be heading to our next location soon, I can’t wait to see all the new things on our journey. This has been quite the adventure so far. I hope Ingolf is doing ok with all the new changes we keep finding ourselves in. I should probably go, journal, I need to go check in on him and get ready for dinner. I will talk with you again soon.
