Is it weird that is this situation is familiar? Being transported to a new world, there’s a prophecy that the world will end, go find all the magical relics to stop it by adventuring across the land. If I become an outlaw or get kidnapped I’m going to saying I was iseakied. I’m sure you can tell from what I just said that there is now a prophecy of our demise. Somehow I’m chill with it. Like me personally, if I was the only person on this planet right now like, yeah I would try to save it but I wouldn’t fight too hard for my own survival. But now there are people I want to protect. I have a family? Now and friends? So I need to help save the world so that they can keep living in it. Confusing times these are. We were holding a festival for the reconstruction of meadowmere (spoiler alert it got destroyed again) and we got a wedding announcement! Well more like we were informed that a wedding was currently taking place. Remember the countess from the war earlier, she got married!! She and her now wife sent over some gifts as thanks for our help in the war, there was some bread, chicken, beer, wine, and grapes. I love grapes, but only the good kinds. Like the really firm ones that are only like, 75% sweet. There was also, The Painting. The Painting, foretold the future. Beastfolk began to wander into town, one of them tried to steal my sword. But they were pretty chill, I’m very use to all the pickpocketing and thieves around. So after a little capture the flag and me finishing my newest song, the eclipse began. The beastfolk began doing a ritual and it brought about the eclipse? Thats what some people are saying, but others are saying that it was going to happen anyways. I don’t know, sun was blocked out, I’m more in the camp it was going to happen anyway because I know this world is “low-magic”, so being able to MOVE THE MOON, seems a bit far fetched for just a ritual. But anyways earthquake happens, a fissure opens, rips Meadowmere a new one (whhhyyyyy we just finished rebuilding aaauuugghhhhh). They retrieve an artifact, and thus began the Meadowmere Keepaway Relay Race. I lost track of how many times that darn artifact changed hands but we (not all but some) wanted it because it was on our land, some thought it was dangerous and the beastfolk were going to use it to do, something? So eventually Raine had it and casted a barrier and let me help (yay!) and The Painting is a map! And a prophecy. Apparently the world is going to end (as mentioned previously), unless we can gather the artifacts shown on the map. So we’re off! We’re traveling with a new friend, her name is Eilonwy. She’s very nice and knowledgeable! She told me all about geography, I’m not great at geography, memorization isn’t my forte. I hope we get to hang out more. I see this story going like, three different ways.
1. the prophecy isn’t lying and once we collect all the artifacts the world ending event is stopped
2. The prophecy is lying and we are currently creating the weapon that will bring about our destruction
3. The prophecy isn’t lying but once we combine all the artifacts it gets stolen and used against us
I’m guessing either 2 or 3 will happen but nothing to do but go along with the story’s whims. Next time I’ll be writing I’ll be in a desert. I’ve only been in a desert once. But that was a CRAZY adventure that I’ll have to tell about in a different tale. Anyways there’s a meeting I’ve got to get to so I’ll work on my newest song later, bye!
