mmmmMMMMMMMGRAAAAAAHHHHHH. WHY. IS THAT WHEN I COME BACK. EVERYTHING. FALLS. TO PIECES!?! Alright so I come back, then Meat comes back. He’s still paranoid but I think they did a ritual on him to make him not paranoid. I don’t truly know I was spying from the woods. Then some red dude comes strolling in, I have NO idea what he was doing. Met back up with Gladius, I’m very glad he was okay, I’m surprised he missed me. Fortunately Simon didn’t mentioned anything about me stealing rations, so I’m taking that as a small win. We were all preparing for our missions and I was brought aside by Grimm for a very important one. I was being trusted to pull one of the carts we were hiding the children in. It felt and still feels like a great honor to be trusted enough to even be given this opportunity. I couldn’t let him down. I accepted and soon we were off to the Hexhaven academy.
Horde. They had horde surrounding the school. Once I find the cruel person who is making horde I’m tearing their fingernails out with a rusty pair of pliers. So, I’m not quite sure what happened to the distraction. We had a distraction team but I think they ended up getting pelted with artillery. Honestly it’s all blur as to what happened. But the children and the headmaster are safe with us, for the time being.
We’ve received word that Meadowmere has fallen. Gods, I’ve only prayed to you twice in my life at my darkest moments and once again hear my cry, let them be alive. I wish they could’ve been a little more descriptive in the letter. Like is everyone dead, some dead, all captured, some captured, all fled? My minds going to some pretty dark places and all I can think is that our little group is the only survivors. I pray that Gladius is okay. I was talking to Simon earlier after Gladius joined the military and he said that as long as he knew when to retreat he’d be fine. Gladius doesn’t know when to retreat. He fights till his bitter end, he literally fought with only one arm. I thought I’d finally made a friend, someone I could trust and cherish. And for all I know he could be dead, or worse captured.
My heart is torn in two, these children needing rescuing, but meadowmere needed protecting. There is no going back, I have to remain strong for the kids. Once we get to Haven we’ll see the outcome. I really hope they are all okay, mentally and physically.
