Many know the origins of their names. Names are important, it is what you are called as an individual or clan.

A name recognized can strike fear into your heart or bring comfort to your surroundings; it can leave a sour or sweet taste upon the tongue; a name can also adapt. It can grow and can also die.

Dahlya of Morrin was my name. A name that should have been forever. However, fate drew up different plans. A forever name turned temporary.
As I wandered, a new name emerged: Dahlya. And Dahlya traveled into a budding name – Meadowmere.

A rare chance to be invited to choose a name. A title that will last for centuries.

        Meadowmere.

A beautiful small town full of many cultures and people who are welcoming. A name that would be refuge to many and home to all who stumble upon it even if it be temporary.

Even in the midst of war, the name Meadowmere remained strong in the hearts of the citizens determined to reclaim their land. Their place of comfort. Their place. Theirs. The name Meadowmere held pride to the citizens. Something Dahlya noticed. But it also held love, happiness, stories, hard work, tragedy and sorrow.
It grew upon Dahlya. The people. The environment. The name.

I did not choose to lose an important part of me, yet I did not think I would ever get it back. I believed I was lost, but I was wrong. I stumbled upon a thriving community and a blossoming name. With everything I am, I have chosen this new name to adapt and grow and give this town everything I can.

        I am Dahlya of Meadowmere.
