Defender’s Report: Field Status: Meadowmere

This report is an assessment of the field status of the town of Meadowmere, requested due to the outbreak of conflict in Duchy Jernigan.
Our combat strength is relatively low. Our garrison of skilled fighters is relatively small, consisting of around 2 dozen individuals. Resource scarcity has affected us similarly to the rest of the region. Most of our supplies have been diverted to other posts with a higher combat strength and more official strategic priority. Rations are fortunately stable.
Formally, I must protest our assignment of low strategic priority. Many of the citizens here are known to possess suspicious artifacts and potential contriband, and it could cause major disruption to the greater Sovreignty if state enemies were to come into possession of said items.
I do have confidence in the ability of these people to protect these items, however, and will tenaciously act to support them. Betrayers of the crown will learn the Order has hands, eyes, and ears everywhere.
