Gladius and the Bunny

I arrived somewhat around noon. Still haven’t found my brother. I asked around about him and no one seemed to know or really care except a few. I also got my first job for the Consortium and we beat up some pennyless thieves. One of them snuck up on us and used Aria as hostage. Of course she got out of it, thank goodness even though the others didn’t appreciate her letting the thief get away. He did drop his sword though. After beating up some more thieves. I discovered there were these magical eggs that granted gifts and or bad things to happen. I opened one of course to test my luck even though advised not to and I got tons of nice goodies even if it did make me silent for a while, which I did not like. I hung around and learned about what happened with the whole rebellion thing. Seems like someone got kidnapped. So we’re going over there to see what we can do. I think there’s a war coming. I don’t see this ending well and if it does come maybe I’ll join the military. Only until it’s resolved though. I don’t want to be abandoned like last time. But I can’t stand by if I can still help. I also am not a big fan of enforcing laws. But I will do what is best for me and my friends.

Then we searched for someone on the bounty board. We found him. He was the man but we’re were supposed to bring him in a live. No one listened to me and he ended up dead. He turned out to be important. Then there was conflict I told the guard I witnessed but I did not swing. Me and him went back to the body and carried it back. It was pretty grotesque Because the big guy ate his head?! So I didn’t appreciate getting blood all over me. We talked about what went down and I gave information and tried not to sell out my friends. Me and Aria talked about what I said to the guard. I think she was pretty upset that I gave him information and that she hit him. But it was in self defense and overall I think the conflict got resolved. Aria started to teach me the move dodge. Which by the way is painful if I don’t manage to weave away from her in time. I’m still grateful she’s teaching me a move that could be very useful in a fight.
After that there was a terrible screaming in the distance. I handed my knife to the big guy that can’t really speak the common language and we went towards the screaming. It was a Bunny? I guess that’s where the eggs came from. It was huge and very deadly it took alot to bring it down. It was also fun to see what others can contribute in a fight. This beast sure liked knocking us down. But we got up and my shield was helpful in holding it back I believe. I cut at it many times. Very rough skin by the way and it finally faltered. We killed the beast. Someone studied the bunny and wrote down helpful information on it. We went back and talked about it some more. The sunset came and I went to sleep. I hope that the prisoner guy is ok and Stinge my brother and the only family I have left.
