Gladius and The Rescue

I showed up with all my gear, ready to save the one guy that was held hostage. I have no idea what his name was or what he looked like until we saved him. The big man gave a red and black sword to me, maybe magical? He said it was made of demon but like lizard demons? It’s very strong in a fight it’s lighter than my other sword and has more reach. It also has a thorn like feature which hooks and tears which may be gruesome but it gets the job done. I beat up some bandits that day with it to test it out. I also used my abilities such as truth on bandits to confirm that they were bandits, because they lie of course. I also finally learned dodge with the help of Aria and another lady with a pirate looking hat. There was an audience to. I got really good at dodging I believe but getting stabbed constantly wasn’t very fun. That night at the therapy group many people exchanged backstories. I went to sleep slightly after that to get ready for the next day.
We had a meeting with a mean woman that made impossible demands and she tried to kill someone during the meeting. Everyone was supposed to leave there weapons outside. But apparently she tipped the guard off. I snuck my knife in through my leather chest plate. As well as hid Tannas’s knife behind my back. I think just about everyone brought a knife. After the meeting a Man approached me, he had a healing staff. He claimed to have known my mother and she also had magical properties. I didn’t know this because I was little when she passed. He said that I had the power to heal such as she did and other magical things related to my glowy hands. I tried to get the healing to work but I just couldn’t figure it out. We headed out to save the one guy and we got him back. Sadly the bad people broke some of my glorious weapons through the fighting. Aria was nice and payed for my weapons to get fixed. After that the mean woman at the meeting came in the tavern and said that she’d kill us all. I’d like to see her try to kill me. As of my friends I will not let them fall to someone as evil and pricky as her. I went to sleep after that thinking of how she might retaliate.
That night there was a horde or something? I tried to help of course there were people that needed help I tried to help her and she exploded in front of me. It was unimaginable and it kind of hurt I got up to the others and fought with them it was glorious. I fought so many. My friend was getting eaten up in front of me. He had no limbs left and was outside the barrier. I got the glowy hands to work! And I healed him. It didn’t bring back his limbs but it kept him from dying which was enough. I understand how to use my power now. I just needed to want it enough. one consumed my arm. Which if no one could guess really hurts and it was my good arm. I dropped my shield and carried on with my sword in my left hand I held most off and I didn’t fault. I saw Aria, half her body was missing. She’s my closest friend and I don’t know what I’d do without her. Out of anger I went into a frenzy and killed many. I lost my legs as well. I almost died I believe. I haven’t been that close to death since.. well since the battle where my father abandoned me. The battle I would have died in. If I wasn’t saved. My farmer friend grabbed me by my only arm and carried me back to get my limbs back. I was thankful. Crawling back would have been painful. There was also an encounter with Death I think? As well as a tragic death of a little girl whom gave us information.
Meat acted weird. Oh I forgot to mention that I am very smart. I figured out Meat was in the syndicate and gave information to the town guard and Tannas. Aria helped with more evidence of this. He also betrayed us or something he was helping guard the hostage but it’s told it was part of the plan, I doubt it and he took money from them. Anyway he acted paranoid and wouldn’t listen to anyone and ran off. Which isn’t smart and there’s bandits and the horde out there.
On the final morning I just trained with people and that’s about it. Apparently there is war declared with the mean lady. Which means I’ll probably joins the military but only for that reason. I want to protect my friends and I can’t let anyone die. I would rather die then any of my friends
