Letter to Drandor

Dear Drandor,
We have worked together in the consortium for some time and I have come to trust you. We have discussed the chance of you giving assistance to a personal project of mine some time ago and I write to you requesting your aid in this matter. I will not get into the details of this mission over such unsecure correspondence. If payment is required I am willing to lend my skill as well as my blade in any matter you deem appropriate or if gold is required that can be provided. I will be staying at the Blushing Mermaid Inn located in the city of Ashton. You can find me there if you choose to join me in this endeavor. There will also be a large amount of information for us to take if that is of any interest to you. I must ask that even if you do not wish to help, that you send a letter to the Inn informing me of your choice. This is no small favor I am asking of you and I am only asking it out of trust. Ashton is the home of the Jernigans and they have a military outpost outside the city. This will be dangerous. I suggest that you come armed. The hope is that this will be a silent outing with none the wiser but it is always smart to prepare for something to go wrong. I hope that does not dissuade you but I will not lie and say this will be easy. Do not tell Tannis of this outing. He represents the consortium as a whole and he can not be caught in the middle of this. If he asks tell him I offered you a contract for work in the city. He need not know what is going on. It is much safer that way. I will not have the consortium dragged down if I make a mistake. I hope to hear from you soon.
