I Gladius, stumbled into a celebration for the season I think? I didn’t really pay attention but there was people and the best of all, FOOD! I socialized and watched the people spar I didn’t join because I had a shoe problem. So I got new shoes from my brother who left a little later because he got the food he wanted and he doesn’t like people. I walked around and joined a conversation about octopi Which I really really want to eat. where also I met this beast-folk wolf and 2 elf’s which I spent the rest of the celebration with. They had amazing ideas and wanted to explore the world and learn it’s history which I thought would be fun. One pulled me aside and told me about joining a mercenary group which I already fought the skilled leader and sadly lost to. But I thought the other battles were alright, one very evenly matched and one where I won. but anyway I talked to the leader and he excepted me and the elf woman, I believed we’d make a good duo because I’m more up close and stabby stabby, while she’s a woman of magic, which could be very helpful. Then apparently there were these people that needed help so some of them left to go help, but I don’t think that’ll go well. The celebration rapped up so I found somewhere to camp for the night. I hope I’ll see those people again.
