      Raine:
After healing at home in Haven, I still haven’t regained many memories of when I was taken from that man. The people he had me help, the origins of this new weapon. The scythe. I only see flashes. But I have regained my strength and being home with Molly Mavis and our tavern family has healed my spirits. Not far from here is the Outpost that my friends have been using. Time for a visit.
As I get close, I feel them, my dear friend Poet and I find each other immediately, cooing and humming sweet greetings. Kelora declared me a cousin, after impressively keeping her footing at our greeting. The stalwart and talented warriors: Tannis, Aikenn, Z, Menry, Drandor, were checking weapons and armor. Kalen was bustling about. Yukon being stoic and reminding me of the Naga people I grew up close to in the Winter Court lands. The interesting fellow with the fun way of speaking was quite brave with his small blade. Then there was the Docktorr… thought he was a featherless bird at first, don’t think I’m fond of his healing methods, being a healer myself. Met a couple new pals, an elf, warrior, pirate, one can never have too many friends. Simon gathered us together and told us about the need to find and face Tully-Eye, a user of dark magic and enemy of the Lord of Dreams. He said we need to train working together as teams, test each other’s strengths, and learn to watch each other’s backs. Tournament time. My name was drawn first, then Poet, Menry, and Z! Team number 1. “Come to me dark warriors, battle awaits us!”
We all tested each other throughout the day. Round after round, in tiring and hot conditions. My new blade sang on the fighting pitch. It propelled me to fight in ways I’ve never done before.
I told Z all I could of the mysterious scythe, they had many concerns of its origin… I understand those concerns, but I feel drawn to keep it with me. Something to discover, along with those lost memories of where I’ve been and who I was with these past couple cycles.
Very proud of my team and myself for winning the finals of the tournament. I didn’t know I had such battle prowess in me. Maybe it was the desire to keep those on my team safe that spurred me forward. I’m glad no one was seriously injured through it all.
The day ended with mysteries surrounding Simon, as well as word that Tully-Eye was found in a nearby town… could he be in Haven? Oh gods, I need to get home.
