This isn’t the same.

I know what a siren’s hunger is. I know my fae primal side. I’ve grown with him. Learned from him. Conquered him.

But this…
This hunger. This violence. This need. It’s not the same. Some of it is familiar but there’s a darker more violent side that has moved to the forefront.

Is this a mixture of the lack of sea water and the pull of the scythe combined? Is the scythe growing in power?

I’m a danger to myself, my people.

They have been looking at me differently. New people not talking to me. Old friends treating me like a stranger. Blaming me. Judging me. Hating me…
