Simon’s Request

This scene happened between Simon and Kalen at the August event.

Simon Approaches Kalen after letting the group know that He needs people to stay at Meadowmere.

“Kalen, I need you to take the refugees and head to Haven.”
“No, You need me here.” Kalen replied.
“I need you at Haven preparing them for what’s to come.” Said Simon.
Kalen gesticulated wildly as he replied, “I can help people here, send someone else with the refugees.”
“Kalen, I trust that you will take care of them and get them to Haven Safely, you are also the only other one who knows Norman’s plan, I trust you.” Simon said calmly.

After a moment, Kalen responded, “Alright, but I better see you there with everyone else.”
“We will all be there soon enough.” Simon Reassured.

Kalen then went and gathered the remaining refugees and set off for Haven while many of his friends where packing up to go to Hexhaven. The Irony of the two locations was not lost on him.

The carts pulled up to the Haven Tavern with a familiar face standing on the front porch welcoming us in. Kebi the cook stood there with a knowing glare of what’s to come. Kalen couldn’t help but wonder if they know, and if so, how they found out.
