I was given new arders from Tannas. I’m seein em thru!

He only talt me ta half o’ it. Sent me off wit a message ta open when I were in position.

Seems like now he trusts me ta be huntin.

Under his order I made my way to my location. Crept along, lower and lower till I got the borders of a camp, er maybe a town a some kind. I could see movements in what seemed ta me loike a field.

I crept under ta wire dat bordered it, keeping low. At times I kept still an flush to ta ground. I carried me weapons an me armor in a great satchel bag, padded with cloth dat it might make no sound, but be ready when it was time fer dirty deeds.

One o’ ta houses was near. I crawled ta it’s side, slipping under ta bushes dat lined it. Den I stood, stock still..

It was night. His orders were ta get here, all unseen, then at daybreak, open ta letter, and prepare ta do wa’ it asked.

No sound comes from me, no whimper, na cry. No e’en a heartbeat.

By day, an I hope, der will be blood!

[Writer’s note: despite Kieran’s bravado, he is correct. No heartbeat could be heard. This is because, Kieran is not alive in the sense that he seems. When a heartbeat is to be expected, a heartbeat may be heard, but Kieran is a golem, more peat bog and body parts than man. Standing in place, overnight, he might seem more akin to the bushes around him than anything that crawls or walks, but these are truths he perhaps may never know.]
