It is done. The spies where brought to justice. However it had not gone as smoothly as first anticipated. Two of the three got away and returned with reinforcements. My new companions and I slaughtered them all and let none survive. After the battle I had felt my visage harden in a strange way. The consequences of battle I suppose.
As I slept after defeating the spies I had a dream of a grain mill drilling farther and farther into the earth. Just the first of many visions to come. The next morning I decided to sample an unlabeled potion. The potion gave me strange visions that echo in my mind still. After my hallucinations passed I elected to take up alchemy to aid in identifying mystery potions in the future.
As of now the road ahead is free and without focus. I will attempt to sharpen my skills more as the days go by. I haven’t seen my forest fey companion in some time. Quirky as she is she may have found something that interested her in the deeper part of the woods and has been studying it for the past week or so. Still I hope that she is ok.
