~ In the local tavern north of Nora’s Respite
~Hello! It is good to see you again. What have you been up to lately? Ah, that is very interesting! I hope you got that looked at.
What have I been up to? Well it was a very interesting last few weeks. I ventured to the south of town a few weeks ago to look for some ingredients for a delicious soup my lovely wife likes to occasionally prepare.
I arrived at a small tavern and saw a few interesting individuals there. There was some of the locals that I’ve become acquainted with. There were also a few new faces that I met. A captain and his first mate who worked for the Order. I arrived to find that some undead have been plaguing the area in the last few weeks. Of course this peaked my interest, because of the work of Rehn with undead in my old home. These undead all seemed to be mindless corpses though. This does show me that there is some magic in this world if you can figure out how to find it.
I offered my healing services to those engaged in combat and managed to make some coin. I was fortunate to learn that a Paladin of the Order had hired this group to exterminate these undead. I made sure to line up to get my share(s) of the reward. Overall, it was a very fortunate and financially rewarding day. However, I forgot to pick up the ingredients for the soup. Of course Hilde reminded me that I didn’t make a shopping list.
