Recipe Creation #
In game, players are not able to create their own recipies, but when they are created by a GM, the recipe levels are judged by how many uses an effect would have if it has been modified to contain materials. Often, but not always, this will make the item be a higher use ability than the regular spell. For example, the standard Heal ability has 3 uses per day, but as a potion, it would count as a 4 ability item. GMs can make this determination.
The Base Formula used to make crafted Items #
To mimic an ability that naturally has 5 uses, the item recipe requires at least 5 points of materials and must use at least 1 common or higher material. Each application gives a single use of an ability and then is expended.
To mimic an ability that naturally has 4 uses, the item recipe requires at least 10 points of materials and must use at least 3 common materials or higher. Each application gives a single use of an ability and then is expended.
To mimic an ability that naturally has 3 uses, the item recipe requires at least 15 points of materials and must use at least 1 scarce material or higher. Each application gives a single use of an ability and then is expended.
To mimic an ability that naturally has 2 uses, the item recipe requires at least 20 points of materials and cannot use lower than common materials or higher and must use at least 2 scarce materials or higher and at least 1 rare material or higher. Each application gives a single use of an ability and then is expended.
